Therapeutic Action

Combination of two local anaesthetics of the amide type

Indications

Skin anaesthesia prior:

  • needle insertion (e.g. intravenous catheters, blood sampling)
  • minor surgical procedures (e.g. localised injuries)

Instructions for use

5 gr tube for single patient use.

One gram of cream equivalent to approximately 3.5 cm of cream.

Apply a thick layer on intact skin under an occlusive dressing, 1 hour before needle insertion and 2 hours before minor skin procedures

Precautions for Use

Do not apply to broken/irritated skin or open wounds.

Do not apply to large areas of the body.

Do not apply on the genitals of children.

To prevent overdose in infants, use a syringe (1 ml = 1 g)

Storage

  • Below 25ºC - Protect from sunlight
  • Do not refrigerate.
  • Shelf life before opening: check the date stated on the packaging.
  • After opening, the tube keeps for up to 6 months. Single patient use.
  • Tightly close the tube after each use to prevent contamination.
