Precautions for Use

MSF requirements

In MSF, ELISA tests are currently used to:

  • monitor TSH in MDR TB patients
  • confirmation of Chagas disease
  • in high case loads of some serological tests
  • for operational research purposes

More tests will be validated in the future for applications if no other alternative like rapid tests are available.
