Function

This device produces a 0.6% concentrated sodium hypochlorite solution (or 6 g of active chlorine per litre) from brine.

It uses the electrolysis process and requires only clear water (< 5NTU) and salt. It is an interesting alternative to MSF's standard chlorinated product (Nadcc / HTH) and allows the mission to be autonomous and free from transport and storage constraints.
