This Simop bar screen consists of a high-density polyethylene tank, equipped with a bar screen basket (in galvanised round iron). The spacing between bars (air gap) is 15 mm.

Fit
Connects to a wastewater treatment system (various water pumps). The unit is installed outside the building and is perfectly level. It must be buried outside a place where vehicles pass. Its cover must be level with the ground and remain accessible for maintenance. The bottom of the pit must be covered with 10 cm of sand.
Function
A bar screen is used to separate and remove bulky material from the effluent that could interfere with the operation of the system. The inclined grating or the rake basket catches objects larger than 15mm.
