BALL VALVE full flow, brass, 2", FxF threaded

Form

Brass valve with a lever/handle to open or close in ¼ turn (as opposed to a gate valve that takes several turns to operate). The handle is usually in red. Both ends are 2" or ND50, female threaded, British Standard Pipe Taper thread (BSPT). Full flow: the hole in the ball is the same size as the pipeline resulting in lower friction loss. Per piece.

Fit

To be fixed to 2" or ND50 pipes or devices.

Function

Used in a water installation to allow rapid closing and opening of the system. Not recommended to regulate a flow; for this a gate valve is recommended: CWATCBVAGT2IF.
