MODULE, POWER SUPPLY 230/12/230 V
Definition
Power supply system, composed of 2 main elements: battery charger/inverter + batteries, allowing different functions:
- Energy storage in the batteries
- 12 V DC power supply
- 230 V AC power supply
- UPS function: uninterrupted AC power supply, with large autonomy
Indications
For complete specifications of the articles, see the Logistic catalogue (PELE family)
Charger/inverter (or "combi"):
- Battery charger and inverter combined in one single device, automatic, with constant output power: 1500 VA
- Input voltage:
- 9.5 - 17 V DC
- Switch-over time (from inverter to charger and vice-versa) < 15 microseconds
- Temperature sensor
- No radio interference!
Battery
- Stationary: can be discharged up to 70 % to 80% of its capacity.
- Capacity: 80 Ah
- Sealed => contains jellified electrolyte:
- is ready-to-use
- does not spill whatever its position
- maintenance-free
Instructions for use
Recommended for MSF offices and radio installations.
If the input voltage is too low or fluctuates too much, it is recommended to install a voltage regulator/stabiliser to protect the combi (see related articles below).
Precautions for Use
- Do not expose batteries to the sun.
- Avoid emptying the batteries: turn devices off when not in use, control the consumption, check the battery charge level regularly.
- Batteries should be stored charged. Even if they are not used, they should be regularly charged.
- Every 6 months, the contacts should be cleaned; the clamps should be tightened and covered with grease (to protect them against corrosion).
MSF requirements
