MODULE, DOSING PUMP, 10 l/h - 3 m³/h (Dosatron)

Definition

Mechanical dosing pump allowing continuous chlorination of water.

Indications

DOSING PUMP

  • Mechanical pump using the water pressure as a driving force (no need for electric power supply)
  • Water flow between 0.7 and 18 m3/h with a by-pass assembly
  • Maximum nominal pressure: 5 bar

KIT

The kit contains all the accessories required for the functioning and maintenance of the dosing pump.

Instructions for use

  • Connect the dosing pump either to the public water supply system or to another water supply source (refer to the user guide supplied by the manufacturer)
  • Connect the dosing pump in the same direction as the water flow (see arrow on the Dosatron and on the regulator)
  • Always install the dosing pump on the discharge outlet of the pump
  • For the first use, start the pump and regulate the flow gradually
  • Adjust the positioning of the regulator's spring in order to adapt the opening of the valve according to the flow in your water pipe (refer to the adjustment graph)
  • Adjust the percentage of sucked up chlorine stock solution with the graduated dosing ring and test free residual chlorine at the outlet of the system
  • To clean the filter: decrease the flow of the pump and then put the filter on the filtering position
  • Clean the pump once a month by allowing it to suck up water without chlorine during 10 minutes
  • Protect the pump from the bad weather and sun
