Fit
Requires PTOOWELDEMCS8: copper/steel wire to weld steel.
Function
Metal inert gas (MIG) welding, metal active gas (MAG) welding, the difference between the 2 processes is the type of gas, argon/helium for MIG and argon/carbon dioxide for MAG. Gas is used to isolate the molten metal from the ambient air.
It can be used to weld all type of metal (depending on the wire used). It provides faster and cleaner welding result. Use:
- copper/steel wire for welding steel
- steel wire for welding corrosion-resistant steel
- stainless steel wire for welding stainless steel
- aluminium wire for welding aluminium alloy
