Instructions for use

Always enquire about local authorizations to be obtained.

Wide-band, duplex mode and keypad programming enable communication with other operators (except if they are using UHF equipment), and the use of a repeater.

Radios are preset to standard frequencies for immediate use.

The antenna of the base station should be erected as high as possible. Base station range depends on antenna height; the maximum is 30 km. The base station should ideally be placed in the middle of the site, with a permanent operator responsible for relaying messages, in order to extend the communication network.

For special situations (longer distances, repeaters etc.), consult your technical department.
