Indications

This module contains all the necessary equipment for sampling, testing and giving blood (transfuse) for children. It is intended for paediatric wards and inpatient nutritional centres.

The quantities are calculated for 32 transfusions. The module contains 250 ml and penta (450ml + 4x100ml) blood bags.

Instructions for use

The transfusion module is divided in sub-modules. One of the sub-modules contains the equipment: haemoglobinometer, centrifuge and scale.

If you order several transfusion modules, you can ask to receive the equipment part only once!

The screening tests should not be performed on whole blood, except the malaria test: HRP-2/pan pLDH. The brand of the malaria rapid test will depend on your ESC (European Supply Centre). Please confirm which malaria RDT you have in your project.

Storage

The module KMEDMTRA03B contains thermosensitive items

  • Store refrigerated between 2 and 8°C
  • Do not freeze
