KIT, FIRST AID, rucksack

Indications

Kit intended to facilitate the first aid when travelling, for example during an exploratory mission.

Can be used to treat members of the staff, or occasionally patients met on the road.

For exploratory missions concerning meningitis, measles, etc., the medical staff will ensure to complete the kit with the necessary equipment to diagnose and treat the possible cases.

In any case, preference will be given to transfer the patient rather than to treat the patient on the spot.

Specifications

Rucksack containing drugs and basic medical equipment, intended for exploratory missions and being able to serve as first aid kit in vehicles.

Caution, it is not intended to be the team's pharmacy at home!

Only medical or paramedical staff is authorized to use the contents of this kit.

The same content is also available in an aluminium suitcase.

Warning

  • This kit contains internationally controlled substances (= psychotropic and narcotic drugs). It might be necessary to get an "Import Licence" from receiving National Authorities for these drugs.
  • Contact your Procurement Department and read the information related to psychotropic and narcotic drugs in the Medical Catalogue and order lists.
  • Methylergometrine has been removed from the kit because it must be kept refrigerated.
